The passion for purity of forms and a keen attention on details and materials accompanied by the effort to avoid coldness still trying to be subtle, plain and approachable is the common denominator of their design research

Biography:
Simona Pieri
Architect, graduated in Florence in 1997 , from 1998 to 2002 lived in London collaborating with Claudio Silvestrin architects as project director for Giorgio Armani stores worldwide, and for a wide range of projects from art galleries, museums, private houses.
In 2002 Simona moved to Rome where she established ‘desanctis_pieri architetti associati’.  She is particularly interested in product design and innovative material research.

CO-AUTHOR:
Gianpietro Zirottu
Architect, graduated at Politecnico di Milano. Worked for 4 years in Milan. In  2006 moved to Rome.  In September 2007 started a collaboration with ‘desanctis_pieri architetti associati’. He worked for interior design projects, houses, exhibitions.
He is interested in industrial design and photography.
